One you have decided to move forward with surgery, you will be contacted by our scheduler to help you navigate the process to ensure a smooth and easy experience. Undergoing surgery is an important decision. Elective surgery is especially important because you have choices and have the luxury of time to fully educate yourself about all aspects of the surgical procedure you are interested in. These include but are not limited to risks and benefits of surgery, alternatives to surgery, downtime and recovery, as well as our specific office policies and matters of finances. 

All surgery has risks but each surgery has its own specific and inherent risks associated with it, too. We will review these prior to obtaining your informed consent. You will be given plenty of information during the course of your consultation and scheduling process. Please make sure you ask if there is anything that may be unclear. If overwhelmed, let us help and review the information with you. Education, transparency and safety are our top priorities to ensure we achieve the results you are looking for.
